Social media is the term used to describe online tools and sites that people use to share video, images, thoughts, experiences, and other media.

These sites typically use technologies that allow people to interact such as blogs, message boards, bookmarks, podcasts, and communities.

Facebook is a free, global social networking website. Users can set up a personal profile and become fans of pages like Principia Upper School. Fans receive news and updates.
LinkedIn is a free, business-oriented social networking site mainly used for professional networking. Users of the site can use it to find jobs, people and business opportunities. Join The Principia group of career contacts on LinkedIn.
