We are delighted to receive applications from young Christian Scientists who regularly attend a Christian Science Sunday School or children’s room. At least one parent should be an active branch church member. The parent(s) must be willing to rely on Christian Science for the treatment of physical and non-physical needs and desire their child to grow in his or her understanding and practice of Christian Science.
 
Each application is given careful consideration in three areas: (1) the student’s academic and citizenship record, (2) the student’s and parents’ desire for a Principia education, and (3) commitment to Christian Science.
 
Admission checklist
 
Step 1: Apply online.
 
Step 2: Submit an academic reference.
 
Middle and Upper School students need academic references from their current or most recent English and math teachers, and a third teacher of choice.
 
Step 3: Submit an Christian Science reference.
 
All students need one Christian Science reference from their current Sunday School teacher and another from a branch church member who knows them well. For Acorn applicants, please submit one reference from a branch church member who knows the child and/or the family well.
 
Relatives may not serve as references.
 
Step 4: Submit official copies of grades and test scores.
 
We will send an official request for transcripts/grade reports and standardized test scores to the student’s previous school(s) unless you notify the Director of Admissions otherwise.
In this case, submit an official copy of grades from the previous two years plus the current year and any standardized test scores directly to the Admissions Office.
 
Step 5: Mail or e-mail us a photo of the applicant.
