Infant/Toddler

Education beginning with infancy

The Acorn Infant/Toddler program supports Christian Science parents and their young children through the age of three by providing valuable early social experiences outside the home and family.

Weekly Tuesday play-ins from 8:30–10:45 a.m. for one- and two-year olds provide time for singing, creative art, and active inside and outside play. Parents help supervise the children and have opportunities to share spiritual ideas that support parenting and practical tips and strategies. Two-year-olds may also attend the Wednesday and Thursday Co-op program, a beginning preschool experience, from 8:30–10:45 a.m.  Parents take turns assisting on Co-op days.

Enrolled families are invited to borrow age-appropriate toys, puzzles, and books from the Toy Library and schedule time to meet with the teachers to explore ways to create rich learning opportunities at home.

“Participating in Acorn really helps you see the beautiful integration of Christian Science with the practical side of raising children.”
