As part of our commitment to prepare students for 21st century thinking and communication skills, technology is constantly being integrated in fresh and dynamic ways throughout the Middle School curriculum. All students receive an HP EliteBook tablet computer to use in class and at home, and wireless connectivity is provided throughout the academic building and dorms.

Incorporating technology allows students to become producers, not just consumers, of knowledge, while also enabling them to engage with their coursework in new ways. Teachers are able to deepen and extend learning activities, differentiate instruction to better meet students’ individual needs, and expand opportunities for students to collaborate with peers in and out of the classroom. From researching Spanish culture to presenting an algorithm to the class to testing a scientific hypothesis, teaching methods and outcomes are changing.
