Many Ways to Express Creativity

Participation in the arts is a life-long journey and a great adventure. Because there are often many solutions to an artistic problem, the arts provide a unique opportunity to think critically and analytically. These are thinking skills that expand beyond the confines of a single class into the students’ entire educational experience.

We approach teaching the arts with the realization that all students are capable and creative. Our goal is for each student to have a positive encounter with the arts. To this end, our faculty creates an atmosphere that encourages freedom of expression, nurtures individuality, and challenges students to move out of their comfort zones and go beyond their previous successes to reach their fullest potential.
