Lee Fletcher-McGookin is in her 15th year of service to Principia. Before coming to the School, Lee earned a BS in Administration of Justice/Corrections from San Jose State University and worked as an adult probation and parole officer in Oklahoma. Lee then foster-parented 350 severely at-risk teenagers in Washington state. For 13 years, Lee served as both member and chairperson of the King County, WA Juvenile Court Conference Committee. In addition, Lee served for eight years as a board member on the Citizen’s Advisory Committee in the King County Department of Youth Services in Seattle, WA.

In 1995 Lee began her Principia career as a Middle School housemother, and became dean of girls in 2004. She is now in her fifth year as dean of students at the Upper School.
