Principia School boys basketball finished strong at the prestigious City of Palms Classic Basketball Tournament in Fort Myers, Florida, solidifying their own ranking as a top team in the nation. 

Principia boys basketball makes headlines earning the number one preseason ranking in Missouri by Sports Illustrated.

When Yifei, a powerhouse sophomore tennis player, picked up her racquet and stepped onto the court for the Class 1 State singles tennis tournament, she didn’t expect her match—or her victory—to come so fast.

Quentin, an Upper School Senior, becomes the second player in Missouri history to win both a State championship and Nike’s prestigious Peach Jam basketball tournament held in Georgia this past summer. 

The boys’ and girls’ teams' tenacity and dedication on and off the court have given them notoriety and led them to new heights. This year, Principia School basketball soared even higher, making history—twice.

In a celebration of sports excellence, Jay Blossom, head varsity basketball coach at Principia School, has been inducted into the prestigious St. Louis Sports Hall of Fame. 

This year was a historic one for girls’ varsity basketball, as the Panthers reached the State Championship for the first time in School history! This legendary team featured Class 2 Player of the Year Dasia Scott and District Coach of the Year Josh Spuhl.

Parth Patel recently celebrated his special day. No, not his birthday: Last fall, the city of Chesterfield designated November 6 as Parth Patel Day. Patel, 17, is a member of the USA U19 Cricket National Cricket Team.

In one year, the Bill Simon Field House has made a tremendous impact on the School, the students, and the community.

Upper School sports teams made strong showings at competitions this fall. 

It’s a new day for Principia Upper School boys’ basketball, with a new coach, new home, and a young, tight-knit core of players.

You might say it was a night to remember; but for the nearly 800 people in attendance, it was more like a night of remembering. On January 28, Principia families, alumni, and community members gathered to celebrate the grand opening of the new Bill Simon Field House on the Principia School campus.
