It’s that time again. . .Time to trade screen time for green time at Principia School’s 7th Annual BioBlitz, a free event happening on May 1 and 2. Join us for a weekend of outdoor fun and exploration and uncover the natural treasures that are thriving in Principia’s own backyard. Register today.

BioBlitz transforms Principia’s 360-acre campus into a living laboratory, where science, discovery, and family fun come to life in the great outdoors. Curiosity leads the way while discoveries unfold in real time—all while enjoying festive face painting, hayrides, twilight bat-netting, stargazing, s’mores, crafts, and the good company of fellow nature lovers.
Dig into the abundance of life that flourishes across Principia’s campus, alongside scientists from the Saint Louis Zoo and the Missouri Department of Conservation. Younger students will also get the unique chance to work with college-level students studying natural history from Principia College.

Explore the diverse plants, animals, and birds that inhabit our beautiful, wooded trails, tree-lined ponds, sweeping prairies, and native creek beds on the largest high school campus in Missouri.
BioBlitz is an unforgettable opportunity for families, students, scientists, and outdoor enthusiasts of every kind to gather together and celebrate the natural beauty that surrounds us.
