Principia’s student-painted mural in Blacksmith’s Tunnel, located under Clayton Road in Town and Country Center Square was an ambitious plan from the start. Principia ninth graders from the 24/25 academic year, dove into the processes, planning, and painting of the once-underwhelming tunnel, transforming it into a vibrant mural that embodies and reflects the Town and Country community’s history and spirit.   

From brainstorming to the final brushstrokes, students left a colorful, indelible mark for our community. Enjoy the images below capturing the tunnel’s transformation, and join us in person to celebrate our students’ imagination coming to life in the heart of Town and Country.
