School Counseling

Upper School Hall

The Upper School Counseling Office fosters an environment where students and parents all feel safe, heard, and valued. We create a comprehensive counseling curriculum that includes academic, social/emotional, and college and career development for all students. Starting from a metaphysical basis, we provide the tools and framework to handle any student need.

Through our Counseling Curriculum (monthly, grade-level-appropriate sessions) and individual meetings with students, we ensure that all students are prepared for what’s to come after high school.

Our experienced counselors develop strong relationships with each student, working closely with them throughout their Upper School experience. Starting in freshman year, we build a rigorous academic plan and support them as they explore their interests and aspirations. Later, we help students identify a range of colleges and universities that match their interests and support them throughout the application process, guiding them to choose the best possible fit.

A low student-to-counselor ratio allows us to effectively address individual academic needs and to support students with key life lessons—achieving balance, staying motivated, fostering relationships, and maintaining high community standards.
