Arthur F. Schulz Jr. Alumni Scholarship

Serving Principia in numerous capacities for nearly thirty years, Art Schulz embodied the very best of the school’s scholastic, spiritual, and leadership ideals. In grateful recognition of his example of Christian living and his impact on hundreds of young lives, the Principia Alumni Association, in 1982, established a special endowment in Art’s memory.

  • Outstanding citizenship
  • Leadership participation in extracurricular activities

How to apply

All new Upper School applicants are automatically considered based on the admissions application. We encourage thoughtful and thorough responses to application questions and best work on the admissions essay.

When the Admissions Committee identifies a qualified candidate for the Arthur F. Schulz Alumni Scholarship Award, the applicant is notified and the award is credited to their account. If the family has applied for financial aid and this scholarship is awarded, it will be considered part of the total financial aid award package.

Application Deadlines

Fall 23-24 Admissions applications are due April 3, 2023, and scholarship awards are available only to those who apply by the April 3 deadline.

Admissions applications will be evaluated, and awards determined, in the order in which applications are received.
