Principia Adventure Camp

Are you looking for a unique outdoor summer camp for your child? The answer is Principia Adventure Camps (PAC)! Two types of camp experiences—Adventure Sampler and Wilderness Skills—offer a variety of fun activities for rising third- through eighth-grade students. The camps provide fun and unique opportunities for students to develop wilderness skills with an emphasis on character, including collaboration, leadership, communication, and courage. Each camp is led by experienced and certified staff. 

Adventure Sampler Camp

June 10–14 (9:00–5:00 p.m.) for rising sixth–ninth graders 

$650 per student (10% discount for siblings)

In the Adventure Sampler Camp, students will take day excursions involving adventures in and around St. Louis. Activities may include: ropes course, canoeing, exploring Johnson Shut-ins, creeking, rock climbing, spelunking, team-building activities, and more. This camp will be limited to a minimum of 6 and a maximum of 15 campers. 

Wilderness Skills Camp 

May 20–24 (9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.) for rising third–fifth graders

May 27–31 (9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.) for rising third–fifth graders

$195 per student per week (10% discount for siblings)

Activities center on developing wilderness skills and may include: ropes course, fire-making, atlatls, orienteering, team-building activities, shelter construction, lashing, outdoor cooking, tracking, and more. All activities occur on Principia School’s Challenge Course and surrounding forests. These camps will be limited to a minimum of 6 and maximum of 10 campers.
